Welcome to Rustic Hideaway Cabins LLC! Your
Southern Illinois Log Cabin Rental. Located in the heart of Southern
Illinois in Jonesboro. Your home away from home. Visit us for a one
night getaway or stay a week. We adjoin approximately 800 acres of
the Shawnee Forest for your hiking enjoyment. We currently have 2
cabins available for rent year around. The cabins are located on 10
private, wooded acres. Besides the decor, both cabins are very
similar and offer the same amenities. Both have hot tubs which
operate year round and both have gas vent-less fireplaces operating
seasonally. Cabin #1 has an extra 1/2 bath in the loft area and can
sleep up to 6 persons.
The cabins are approx 850 Sq ft. and contain almost anything you should
need to have a great getaway. Cabin #1 was opened in February of
2000 and Cabin #2 in July of 2000. We were inspired by log cabin
living when we rented one on a vacation in Tennessee. We designed,
furnished and built with help both cabins ourselves. We hope to see
