How many log cabins are
there?
There are 2 log cabins for rent.
How much will it cost?
Are we talking big bucks?
No, our cabins are cheaper then most hotels. To find our rates go
to our
information page.
What is the difference
from both of the cabins?
#1 - Sleeps 7 people and has an extra 1/2 bath in the loft area (1
1/2 bath total).
#2 - Sleeps 6 people and has only 1 bath.
Both cabins are priced the same, and yes - they both have hot
tubs!
How do I reserve?
Step 1: Check the
availability calendar for the dates you want to reserve to see
if the dates are available.
Step 2: Fill out
reservation form on our website or call us at (618) 833-4860
to make your reservation.

of 9 AM - 8 PM CT
Do I need a credit card
to reserve?
No, once you have filled out a reservation request, we will verify
that those dates are available. Rent information form and map will
be mailed to you. That form should be immediately sent back to us
along with a 1 night's deposit to hold your reservation. We do not
accept credit cards over the internet. This information will be
done over the phone.
What types of payments
do you accept?
At this time we only accept cash, checks, & credit cards (Discover, Visa,
& Master Card).
How do I pay by check?

Do both cabins have hot
tubs?
Yes, each cabin contains a hot tub on the covered back deck. They
are a maximum 5 person tubs.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, we can't allow pets.

Are children allowed?
Yes, but understand the dangers to children. These log cabins were
built more for adults. The hot tub can be dangerous, the high
stairs, the loft balcony area, and the deck outside can be very
dangerous. If you bring children, it is your responsibility to
keep an eye on them at all times. Children under 7 are free.
What items should I
bring?
Personal items, food, large towels for hot tub use, possible cell
phone, and any special cooking pans or utensils you may want.
How do I check in and
out?
The owners do not live on the premises. You will receive
directions and a map when you reserve. You will be given a
personal door code to unlock the cabin. Please be prompt in
checking out, so that the cabin can be cleaned before the next
guests arrive.
What items are
supplied? And what amenities are included?
Linens, towels, toilet paper, bath and hand soap, trash bags, gas
grill, TV and VCR, VCR tapes, DVD player, CD player, Bedroom TV'S
(Cabin #2 Only), refrigerator, stove, microwave, can opener,
toaster, coffee pot - including coffee, filters, cream, and sugar
packets, salt and pepper, ice cube trays, dishes, glasses,
utensils, pots and pans, board games, and playing cards, 1st aide
kit, hairdryer, gas vent less fireplace (sorry, only operational
during winter months), lawn chairs, Kleenex, candles, alarm
clocks, bottled water, dish and dishwasher soap, iron and iron
board.
What are the bedding
arrangements?
#1 Cabin - Queen bedroom on main floor, double bed in loft, twin
rollaway in loft, sofa - queen bed.
#2 Cabin - Queen bedroom on main floor, double bed in loft, sofa -
double bed.
Are there holiday or
seasonal rates?
No, the cabins are available for rent 365 days a year at the
regular rates.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin, but is allowed outside on
the grounds. Sand buckets are located on the front and back decks
of the cabins, for your convenience.

Are the cabins
private?
Yes, the cabins are located on 10 wooded acres. They are
approximately a 1/2 to 1 block apart.
How far in advance do
I need to reserve?
The cabins are reserved on a "first come - first serve" basis.
Bookings can be made up to 1 year in advance. Frequently, weekends
are not available for 2 months ahead. Although, there may be a
cancellation once in awhile. Check the availability calendar.
What if I have to
cancel my reservation?
We understand that plans change. To cancel, either email or call
as soon as possible. NOTE: Sorry, deposits will not be returned if
your reservation date is less than 10 days to follow.
What is there to do in
the area?
Please refer to the

attractions page on our site. Brochures are available in the
cabins. Let us know in time and we will mail you a Southern
Illinois Tourism Catalog, along with brochures of your interest,
or go to the
Southernmost Illinois Tourism website to request this
information free of charge.
Where is Jonesboro?
Jonesboro is in the heart of Southern Illinois. Approx 30 minutes
from Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Approx 1 hour north of Paducah,
Kentucky. Approx 1 hour south of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Check out
